Friday, March 31 - Saturday, April 1, 2017

Litigating Wage & Hour Cases: Challenges & Opportunities will examine cutting-edge developments in this dynamic field and provide practical tips and strategies to help you navigate the maze of regulatory, procedural, and substantive laws facing your clients. Our diverse faculty will examine a wide range of topics, such as the nuts and bolts of a wage and hour case from intake to trial preparation; litigating claims on behalf of low-wage, immigrant, undocumented, and guestworkers; representing federal employees; understanding the myriad ways in which bankruptcy influences wage and hour litigation; and maximizing your settlements and attorney’s fees. Plenary sessions will feature significant legal developments, issues caused by “fissured” workplaces, “A View From The Bench” with esteemed federal judges, taking effective 30(b)(6) depositions, and a forum for sharing and learning strategies to deal with the changing federal regulatory and enforcement environment to come.
