Law students and recent graduates are invited to join NELA and The Employee Rights Advocacy Institute For Law & Policy (The NELA Institute) for an engaging and interactive discussion on how to develop a career in plaintiffs’ employment law.

    Experienced employment law practitioners will address how to enter the plaintiffs’ employment law field from various perspectives, including private, government, and public interest practices. Our speakers will provide tips on identifying and securing job opportunities and share advice on what skills and experience can help law students be successful employee advocates. 

    6:30–8:00 p.m. President’s Welcome Reception

    Immediately following the program, participants are invited to attend the 2018 NELA Annual Convention President’s Welcome Reception. Students will have the opportunity to network in a casual environment at the nation’s largest gathering of plaintiffs’ employment lawyers.
