if you have questions concerning the 2013 Annual Convention.
The National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) advances employee rights and serves lawyers who advocate for equality and justice in the American workplace. NELA is the country's largest professional organization that is exclusively comprised of lawyers who represent individual employees in cases involving employment discrimination and other employment-related matters.
NELA’s Annual Convention is specifically designed for employee rights advocates. Our Annual Convention offers three or more plenary sessions and 30 concurrent sessions over three days. Generally, sessions are 75-90 minutes long and feature a moderator and three speakers. NELA’s Convention Manual is produced only in electronic format (CD-ROM and online). In addition to plenary and concurrent sessions, NELA invites Convention participants to attend the Annual Luncheon, Dinner and Gala Fundraiser. Approximately 500 members attend the Annual Convention which is held each at the end of June. The location for the Annual Convention varies each year. Convention details are generally available in January.
