NELA Lobby Day

Kick off NELA’s 2018 Spring Seminar by joining NELA members from around the country for Lobby Day 2018 on Thursday, April 12. NELA members will lobby on ending forced arbitration in the workplace, speaking out about President Trump’s judicial nominations, and more.
There is no charge for participating in Lobby Day, but pre-registration by March 30, 2018 is required. A Lobby Day Orientation & Briefing will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Building, NELA’s Lobby Day Headquarters, located at 100 Maryland Avenue, NE in Washington, DC.
Once you register for Lobby Day, you will receive detailed information about the day’s schedule, preparing for your Hill visits, and more.
It has never been more important for us to stand together to insist that our elected representatives be held accountable to protect the working people of America and ensure that their workplaces are safe, fair, and free of harassment and discrimination. Nothing is more effective in persuading Congress than personal visits from constituents and community leaders who can explain how an issue affects their district, their state, and the nation.
