Working Towards a More Equitable and Diverse Law Firm

When:  Apr 29, 2026 from 02:00 PM to 03:30 PM (ET)

As many law firms and companies retreat from diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, NELA remains committed to ensuring that our members and member firms are armed with the tools necessary to continue this work. Our speakers will offer guidance and best practices on how best to recruit, hire, and retain attorneys and staff from minority and marginalized communities.

This webinar is presented by NELA's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility (DEIA) Committee. The DEIA Committee works to make NELA a welcoming, relevant, and fulfilling organization for workers' rights attorneys and advocates who belong to communities of color, who are LGBTQIA+, who identify as women or non-binary, who identify as people with disabilities, and who come from a wide variety of generations, geographic regions, and practice settings. The committee is committed to examining and eliminating barriers within NELA's culture and practices, and to building an organization that reflects the workers and communities we serve.
