NELA-Af, the state affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), is a professional organization of lawyers dedicated to the advancement of workers' rights. NELA-Af members exclusively or primarily represent employees in cases involving employment discrimination, illegal workplace harassment, wrongful termination, denial of employee benefits, and other employment-related matters.

Founded in 1985, NELA is the country’s largest organization of lawyers who advocate on behalf of employees. NELA advances employee rights and serves lawyers who advocate for equality and justice in the American workplace.

NELA and its 69 state and local Affiliates have more than 4,000 members nationwide.
