Bio

Bryce Ashby is an attorney at Donati Law, PLLC in Memphis, Tennessee where he has practiced since he graduated from law school in 2007.  His practice focuses on representing individual workers and groups of employees in workplace disputes ranging from discrimination/retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, and whistleblower cases.   Bryce’s passion is in representing low-wage and immigrant workers. 

He has served as the President of the Tennessee Employment Lawyers Association (TENNELA), Chair of the Western District of Tennessee’s Local Rules Committee, President of the Memphis/Mid-South Chapter, Federal Bar Association, Board Chair for Latino Memphis, Inc., and on the conference planning committee for NELA’s annual and wage & hour seminars.  Currently, he serves on the Memphis Bar Foundation Board and is Past-President of the Center for Excellence in Decision Making (CEDM), an organization that promotes education and training to address factors such as implicit bias that inhibit equitable decision-making in the delivery of services to the community.

He is a former clerk to the Hon. Bernice B. Donald when she served on the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

Bryce is a graduate of The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, and Rhodes College.  Prior to law school, he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras as well as the Director of Programs at Latino Memphis, Inc.

Bryce is a husband, father of three, cross-country/track coach (in his spare time), and contributor to The Daily Memphian, The Commercial Appeal, and The Memphis Flyer.
