Sharpen Your Skills

Our intensive three-day skills-based program is specifically designed for plaintiffs’ employment lawyers at all levels of trial experience. The Boot Camp will feature interactive demonstrations and presentations on successful techniques and strategies for trying employment cases, as well as mock proceedings designed to mimic the rigorous pace and schedule of trial.

Topics Covered:

  • Opening Statements,
  • Closing Arguments,
  • Direct and Cross-Examination,
  • Voir Dire, and more.
Boot Camp helped me realize how to bring my case to life before a jury.
I learned several techniques that
I believe will greatly enhance my
trial skills and presentation
to the benefit of my clients.

Trial Boot Camp For The Plaintiffs' Employment Lawyer

Both Advocates and Campers will be assigned to a Trial Team based on experience level. Each Trial Team will be led by the same Trial Team Leader over the course of the three-day Boot Camp. A common fact pattern based on an actual discrimination case will be used for the skill building workshops and mock trials.

Trial Boot Camp Advocates

Registering as a Trial Boot Camp Advocate will provide you the opportunity to refine your trial techniques and perfect your individual style by participating in skill building workshops and conducting two three-hour mock trials. This format will enable you to learn by doing, observe other lawyers practice their techniques, and receive constructive feedback. Advance preparation is required for Trial Boot Camp Advocates.

Advocate registration closes on Friday, September 20.

Trial Boot Camper

If you register as a Trial Boot Camper, you will not participate actively in the workshops or conduct the mock trials, but you will learn by attending and observing the lectures and demonstrations, skill building workshops, mock trials, and critiques. Campers will be assigned to Trial Teams based on level of experience.

Early-bird registration ends September 27.
